AIM
Sensory Program
A SENSORY FOCUSED ADULT DAY PROGRAM
AIM Sensory Program
The AIM Sensory Program is a specialised day program designed for adults with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities who benefit from sensory-rich, supportive environments.
AIM provides participants with opportunities to engage their senses, build connections, and experience meaningful activities in a safe and supportive setting. The program focuses on creating calm, engaging experiences that support wellbeing, communication, and social interaction while allowing individuals to explore new activities at their own pace.
Through carefully planned activities and small-group support, participants can develop confidence, connect with others, and enjoy experiences both within our centre and out in the community.
What Participants Can Expect
Participants in the AIM Sensory Program have the opportunity to:
Engage in sensory-based activities that support wellbeing and regulation
Build social connections and communication skills
Experience structured, supportive daily routines
Explore new activities in a calm and engaging environment
Participate in community-based experiences and outings
Our team ensures that activities are adapted to meet each participant’s needs, creating a space where individuals feel comfortable, supported, and able to participate in ways that work for them.
